Nafcillin na is an beta-lactam antibiotic related to penicillin. As a beta-lactamase-resistant penicillin, it is utilized to address infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria, particularly species of Staphylococci, that are resistant to other penicillins.

Administration
Nafcillin may be given either orally (Unipen®) or even by injection (Nallpen®)

Side effects
When by owning 100% penicillins, good life-threatening allergic reactions can occur.

Milder side results include: Nausea and vomiting Diarrhea, often imputable suppression of normal gastrointestinal bacteria.
